The unique NFT photography project Metascapes is officially the first NFT project to come from the Rug Radio incubator. The partnership will see Rug Radio support Metascapes as it looks to support creators looking to grow in the NFT space.
In essence, Metascapes is an NFT photography collection with a twist. In particular, it is the first-ever artificial intelligence (AI) landscape collection. The project came about as a collaboration between three photographers – Cath Simard, Ryan Newburn, and Iurie Belegurschi. Basically, the three uploaded their entire lives’ work into an AI GAN2 system courtesy of Versus Lab AI.
The AI then generated a number of stunning landscape photos. After that, the Metascapes team selected the most beautiful outputs and released them as NFTs.
As mentioned above, Metascapes is the first NFT project that Rug Radio and RugDAO have incubated. To explain, Rug Radio stakes a claim as the first fully decentralized media platform. To that end, the RugDAO is a way for the Rug Radio community to have ownership in the Rug Radio ecosystem.
