Award-winning cartoonists and twin brothers, Asaf and Tomer Hanuka are teaming up again. This time, they will release a new NFT collection titled “Moodies”. Feel like in the mood for new NFTs? Let’s take a closer look!
Details are scarce at the moment, but Moodies is basically a collection of 7,401 NFTs of emotional complexity. Looking at the bizarre art, the collection depicts human emotions through symbols and storytelling.
Even with the lack of details, Moodies is gaining popularity among NFT enthusiasts. Just 2 days ago, the team only had 148 members on its official Discord. As of writing, there are already more than 12k degens joining its Discord. Looks like something is brewing here.
But that’s probably because anyone can join the allowlist right now. How? Just submit your ETH wallet address on the Moodies NFT official website and that’s it. No Discord grinding of any sort to secure your spot on the project.
As mentioned, Moodies NFTs are created by award-winning cartoonists and twin brothers Asaf and Tomer Hanuka. They are both talented artists from Israel and managed to clinch multiple awards for their works throughout their careers.
For instance, Asaf’s autobiographical comic The Realist won a Gold medal from the Society of Illustrators in 2010, the Award of Excellence from the Communication Arts Annual, and a Silver medal from 3X3. Plus, he works with the big brands too. We’re talking about the likes of Nike Inc., Fortune, The New York Times, and more.
On the other hand, Tomer found much success in his career as well. He is the winner of several medals from the Society of Illustrators, the Society of Publication Designers, and “American Illustration” and “Print” magazines. Similar to his twin brother Asaf, his works are featured in prominent newspapers such as The New York Times and Time Magazine.
Given that, there’s a lot to look forward to on the art of these Moodies NFTs. According to its latest Discord announcement, the team will reveal more info on the project roadmap, NFT perks, AMAs, and partnerships in the coming days.
